Maggie Ybarra's preferred medium is mixed media. She makes collages with a Baltimore-centric narrative that are rooted in her experience navigating the city. She occasionally creates collages that have a Day of the Dead theme, too. She gets the majority of the materials for her projects from the city's thrift stores.
